Job Title: Counter Fraud Specialist - Greater London
Job Description: Our client based throughout London seek
a Counter Fraud Specialist to undertake Fraud Management
Services for their contracts. These services include the prevention,
detection and investigation of internal and external fraud and
corruption.
Skills Required:
The ideal candidates will be an Accredited Counter Fraud
Specialists. They will have a proven experience and working knowledge of
the various rules that govern internal and external investigations and
of the methods used to prevent and detect irregularity, theft, fraud and
corruption.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
*Investigation
• Receiving allegations of financial and procedural irregularity and
obtaining information to support or disprove these allegations
• Securing and seizing exhibits in accordance with the legislation that
directs all investigations
• Obtaining witness statements to support your investigation
• Interviewing subjects and conducting interviews under caution and in
accordance with legislation
• Investigate internal disciplinary matters in accordance with internal
disciplinary procedures
• Reporting to management with findings and recommendations and
identifying system weakness
• Preparing investigation files and attending court or disciplinary
hearing
* Prevention / Detection
• Preparing fraud and fraud response publicity material
• Reviewing policies and procedures for fraud risks and compliance
with established
• Fraud policies, procedures and relevant legislation
• Providing fraud awareness training to front line staff
• Pro-active process fraud control weakness reviews
A salary of up to £33,000 will be payable and will depend on
experience. They will also receive optional overtime above 37.5 hrs
a week.
